How we rank providers
Ranking is simple and transparent. No paid placements and no hidden criteria. Here are all three sort options available in search.
Nearest (default)
Sorts providers by straight-line distance from the location you searched (a city or your current position). The shortest distance comes first.
Cheapest
Sorts by the lowest minimum price within the selected service category. If no category is selected, the lowest price across the provider's whole price list is used.
Best rated
We use a Bayesian average, not the raw rating. A provider with a single 5-star review doesn't outrank one with 40 solid 4-star reviews. Every provider gets 5 "invisible" reviews rated 4.0 added before the average is computed, so a handful of reviews can't swing the rank on their own.
Where the ratings come from
Only a customer with a completed booking at that service may leave a rating. Every rating is tied to real, finished work. No anonymous impressions, no bought reviews.
- Only a completed booking unlocks a review; one booking = at most one review.
- We do not delete negative reviews. We remove them only if they break the law or our terms.
- A service may reply publicly to a review, but cannot edit or hide it.
- Ratings are not for sale. There is no paid rating boost and no paid position in the rating sort.
What does NOT affect ranking
- Paid placement doesn't exist in v1. No one can pay to rank higher in results.
- The searching customer's personal data has no effect on ordering.
- How long a provider has subscribed or used the platform has no effect on ordering.
